East-West Holistic Healing Arts is the only source of AMMA Therapy® education in Arizona. AMMA Therapy® is Korean bodywork, brought to the United States by the late Mrs. Tina Sohn over 25 years ago. AMMA Therapy® is a complete system of bodywork that incorporates Chinese nutrition and gentle movement exercises such as Qi Gong and T'ai Chi. The bodywork is performed on a standard height table, unlike most other forms of Asian Bodywork, and follows a specific protocol of opening the meridians and stimulating acupressure points. The standard table height used in AMMA Therapy® makes it an ideal therapy for the hospital setting or the average massage room setting.
East-West Holistic Healing Arts also offers courses in the Boomer Bodies™ Protocol (massage therapy for Seniors), and Clearing the Gates™ (headache protocol). We also offer our own Hot Stone protocol as well as Reiki classes, Aromatherapy classes, Facial Rejuvenation Massage, and Professional Ethics.
Please note that through August 2013 our classes will be offered on a very limited basis and are solely being offered in the Phoenix Valley. It is advised that you plan well ahead if you are interested in any of our classes. If you would like to organize a class for a special group, we need at least 2 months notice to arrange that. Classes must have a minimum of 8 students to run. Please call or email for details and class dates.
